This is the 2012 TVS Apache RTR 180. Unfortunately, this is only a facelift and there are no mechanical upgrades to talk about, and this new design will be worn by all the three RTRs, the 160, the 180 ABS and this, the 180. Changes have been made to the front fairing,
body panels and switchgear. The bikini fairing upfront now looks larger, is more rounded, and from several angles reminds us of the current generation Pulsar 150/180’s fairing. The new parking lights look nice though, and look like the LED strip seen on the headlights of most Audis. Body panels have been updated too, and are now edgier. The dash gets a carbon fibre look, while the switchgear gets minor updates. Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged though. Interestingly, the Apache RTR 160 EFi is not on sale anymore, is what we are informed.
Bikes are the newest obsession, mainly among the youth. The TVS Apache got sporty looks and powerful engine which turns it into a cheetah on the road.
